Jack completed his Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice
EDUCATION
Jack Mulherin grew up in the Southern Gold Coast area. He commenced his legal journey in 2009 when he was awarded the Collegiate Scholarship to study law at Bond University. Jack completed his Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2013.
COURT ADMISSIONS
Jack commenced working in Criminal Law, Mental Health Advocacy, Domestic Violence, Apprehended Violence Orders and Family Law matters. In 2015, Jack joined the Queensland Police Service with the goal of gaining experience in prosecuting Criminal Matters. Jack won the Dux award for topping his intake of 96 other recruits. For the next 6 years, Jack worked for the Queensland Police Service prosecuting criminal matters ranging from simple offences like Drink driving, to complex million-dollar fraud matters, Drug trafficking matters and Murder charges. He worked all over Queensland in a number of Court locations like the Gold Coast, Mackay, Whitsundays and Gladstone.
LEADERSHIP
After gaining an in-depth knowledge of Police Prosecutions. Jack made the decision to resign from the Queensland Police Service and re-commenced working as a solicitor with his father Phillip Mulherin whom had been practicing law in the Norther Rivers of NSW for over 25 years and Mulherin Lawyers was established.
Jack has now dedicated himself to using his extensive legal expertise in regard to Police Powers and Procedure, unlawful searches and unlawful arrests to accurately advise his clients as to their prospects of success in defending criminal charges laid against them.
